Suspension of transfers in - 2010

From 1 April 2010, Contributing Members are no longer able to transfer benefits from former employers' or pensions into the TfL Pension Fund.

Following a request by the Principal Employer, the Trustees were asked to consider if Contributing Members should continue to be allowed to transfer benefits from former employers' or personal pension arrangements into the Fund. The position was reviewed in April 2013 and the Trustees agreed to the employer's request to extend the suspension of transfers in until 31 March 2016.
